Our Services

The Gardens of Remembrance

Hope Gardens of Remembrance & Crematorium covers six acres and incorporates a wide variety of garden styles, grassed terraces, water features and memorial groves. There is the option for ashes to be positioned in memorial walls, beneath trees, or in family areas or vaults. For those who prefer it, the Book of Remembrance provides a large granite memorial stone on which the names of those whose ashes have been scattered are individually recorded.

The Crematorium

Our state of the art crematorium is centrally located to serve the many communities of the Nelson and Tasman region.

Funerals and Remembrance Services

Our award-winning main building incorporates a light-filled and uplifting chapel where families and friends are able to gather for funerals and remembrance services. The chapel itself opens onto a large foyer and sunny courtyard, which is available for receptions, refreshments and gatherings following a chapel service.

Pre-Planning and Reservation

Planning ahead allows for peace of mind and certainty. Funeral pre-planning and/or plot reservation, allows individuals to record their wishes and set things securely in place. At Hope Remembrance Gardens & Crematorium there is also the option to establish family vaults or family remembrance areas. Please contact us to arrange a time to discuss your wishes and the options available.

Our Professional Partners

Hope Gardens of Remembrance & Crematorium works in partnership with the region’s leading funeral directors to provide families with a wider range of services and greater choice. We recommend the services of Marsden House Funeral Directors (Nelson), Waimea Richmond Funeral Directors (Richmond) and Golden Bay Motueka Funeral Services (Motueka).
